You may have already heard (or read) the news - I’m putting my name forward again for Waikato Regional Council, this time for the Waihou Constituency.
Why? Because the issues I stood for in my last campaign are still here.
Last time I stood for Council, I missed out on a seat in the Waikato Constituency by just 63 votes.
While that result was frustratingly close, it was also an incredibly rewarding experience - meeting so many great people, listening to communities, and hearing what matters most to them.
Every community has its own priorities, but across the board, people want to see the Regional Council step up and deliver on its responsibilities. Particularly when it comes to creating vibrant communities and supporting a strong economy.
I’m running to ensure our region’s voice is heard, our environment is protected, and our council is held accountable.
To those who supported me last time - thank you. Your encouragement, ideas, and practical help meant the world.
I hope you’ll join me once again as we work toward a better future for the Waihou area and the wider Waikato region. Let’s make it happen.
No more the same. Let’s make a difference!
